Engage2020 coordinator Lars Klüver took part in a panel on public engagement in research at the conference in Responsible Research and Innovation organized by the Danish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Copenhagen University.
Lars made a brief presentation of the result of the global method scan in Engage2020, ending up with around 60 available methods for engagement, he gave an overview of how these methods can be implemented in the whole research food-chain – from policy-making on science/technology related societal issues, to agenda setting in research, to stewarding and defining research projects, and to executing research -, and finally he gave an overview of the most important policy options for strengthening engagement in research.
